If you're being unexpectedly signed out, or seeing errors when trying to sign in, clearing your cookies for Jiki often fixes the problem. Below are instructions for the most common browsers.
If you'd rather not lose other site logins, every browser lets you clear cookies for a single site (jiki.io) rather than wiping everything.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to https://jiki.io.
- Click the padlock (or "tune" icon) to the left of the address bar.
- Choose Site settings.
- Next to Cookies and site data, click Delete data.
- Reload the page and sign in again.
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari and choose Safari then Settings from the menu bar.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data.
- Search for jiki.io, select it, and click Remove.
- Close the settings window, reload Jiki, and sign in again.
Firefox
- Open Firefox and go to https://jiki.io.
- Click the padlock to the left of the address bar.
- Choose Clear cookies and site data.
- Confirm, then reload the page and sign in again.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge and go to https://jiki.io.
- Click the padlock to the left of the address bar.
- Choose Cookies and site permissions then Manage cookies and site data.
- Find jiki.io, click the bin icon, and confirm.
- Reload the page and sign in again.
Mobile browsers
On mobile, the easiest option is usually to clear all browsing data for the site:
- iOS Safari: Settings app, then Safari, then Advanced, then Website Data, search for jiki.io and swipe to delete.
- Android Chrome: tap the three-dot menu, then Settings, then Site settings, then All sites, find jiki.io and tap Clear & reset.
